Loveland Frogman to review in September
The Little Miami River Chamber Alliance, in coordination with several sponsors (presented by Suzi Cree-Keller Williams), will host the Loveland Frogman Race on Saturday, September 11. This unique adventure race will take place from 7:30 am at Loveland Canoe & Kayak. Participants will be transported to their starting point on the Little Miami River where they will kayak 5 miles to Loveland Canoe & Kayak, cycle 8 miles on the bike path and complete a 3.1 mile run around of Miami Riverview Park… then an after party!
Mark Bersani, owner of Loveland Canoe & Kayak commented, “We wanted to create a fun, high-caliber event that fits well into historic Loveland. We have the perfect natural setting for this type of event with the river, cycle path and surrounding amenities. CeeCee Collins, President of the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance, said: “We are delighted to host this race for the 7th year and look forward to another sold-out sale, we have limited places open at the moment. Running is a great opportunity for individuals to learn the ins and outs of a triathlon and for more experienced triathletes to train for a longer run with this type of format. This race is really showcasing our health and wellness businesses in the region, we have so many of them. We’ll be adding some special touches this year in honor of September 11th.
The committee welcomes all skill levels and team combinations Father / Son / Daughter, Husband / Wife, Friends, etc. who would use a canoe or you can participate as an individual using a kayak. We also encourage you to compete in teams against other businesses in the region for a competition!
